The long, wonderful natural beach of Margherita di Savoia “Terme”, softly lying on a foreshortening of the Adriatic sea, almost always clear, is the largest of the Tavoliere coast and is made of a fine, burnished, peculiarly grained sand; thanks to its immense extension, both in length and width, allows the over 72 bathing establishments to have a great facilities space, a wide shoreline where it is possible to take a walk or playing without bothering the guests lying under the beach umbrellas. These latter are placed quite far from each other, so that the beach never seems crowded.

In the afternoon, a soft sea breeze, ripples the waves and makes the sunbathing on the beach very nice and relaxing; moreover, the pure air, rich of iodine, is particularly good for children, that playing happily on the beach, are immunized against respiratory diseases.

The bathing establishments offer a nice colourful show. They all have lots of facilities, such as mini clubs and games for children, entertainment on the beach, water gym, group dances, mini-soccer and beach volley tournaments; many bathing establishments, moreover, are equipped with wide parking spaces, restaurants, pizzerias and pubs, run by a qualified staff, used to deal tourists with courtesy, friendliness and the typical sympathy of the southern people.
